We are so lucky that Pete’s parents bought a pretty house in the Burgundy countryside; it’s the perfect place to relax after a very busy wedding season. It’s even nicer when friends come to visit, which is exactly what the Foxleys did 🙂
In the time it takes to grow a human, our little Albert has become this beautiful creature…
He is jolly, funny, cuddly and ridiculously cute. He fills our life with sunshine, and we’re so happy he joined our little family.
We spent last week in a log cabin in the woods in Wales. We were joined by my parents, sister, niece and nephew (and a rambunctious shrew…yuk!). It was so wonderful to spend time with family and have a break from wedding season madness.
My favourite thing about shooting film is the excitement and magic of seeing pictures that you forgot you took. This was particularly apparent with our last batch, which contained some shots of Albert taken in those early, hazy, sleepless days. There will never be too many pictures of this face.

Yesterday was my 31st birthday. For the first time in a long time, we took a Saturday off.
As luck would have it, our village was having its annual carnival, including a parade which went right past our house. Despite living here for years we never get to see it usually because we’re always shooting weddings.
I had such a lovely day with my favourite people (and Donald the dinosaur).
